SHMS needs about 60 volunteers to man booths for our 9th grade Reality Town on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There will be 2 sessions, each one is about an hour and a half. If you are willing to help with both sessions or if you can only do one, then please click this link and fill out the form to volunteer. The first session runs from 8:15 to 9:45 and the second session runs from 10-11:30. Breakfast and instructions will be provided in the morning before the first session.
Reality Town is a fabulous experience! Freshmen students are given a job according to their GPA. They will visit about 20 booths to purchase a home, car, clothing, groceries, daycare, insurance, medical, etc.
Students of parents who volunteer for Reality Town will receive an extra $100.00 on their check register at the bank when they receive their books that morning.
