Possessing a Facsimile of a Weapon May Result in 180-day Suspension from School
Students and parents are reminded that a new federal law prohibits the use or possesion of a weapon or a facsimile of a weapon on school premises. The most popular facsimile of weapons to date include the popular Air-soft guns. The law is very clear that students possessing a facsimile of a weapon at school, regardless of intent, may be suspended for 180 days.
