Regular club meetings will be on Thursdays from 3:10-3:55. A bus will be available to transport students home. If you'd like to join a club at any time during the school year, you are welcome to do so. Please make sure to fill out the club sign-up on Canvas announcements or print a participation form and turn it into Mr. Airhart.
Students or faculty members seeking to apply for a new club or renew an existing club, need to fill out the "Application for Student Clubs" form. Turn the form into an assistant principal before the deadline.

Hope Squad is for 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, guided by a teacher advisor. Members are nominated for their ability to show friendship and acceptance to everyone, fostering a positive atmosphere at South Hills. Trained in the Hope Squad curriculum, these exceptional students teach lessons, plan events like Hope Week or Day of Hope, school-wide community activities, and lunch time activities. They are school leaders who help new students feel welcome and reach out to those needing a friend, a listening ear, or positive support. Their impact enriches the middle school experience for all. Students must apply every spring and be approved to join Hope Squad. |

To be in the NJHS you must maintain a 3.8 GPA or higher. You need to have all H's and S in citizenship. You have to provide 6 hours of service each quarter. The service can't be provided to your immediate family. We do a yearly food drive and the students provide acts of service for the school.
Students must apply and their application must be approved in order to be in NJHS. |

PTSA is a leadership class focused on being the student voice in meetings with parents, teachers and admin.
We work to improve the school by hosting both Red Ribbon and White Ribbon weeks. Red Ribbon week is our way of saying, "No" to drugs and other harmful substances. White Ribbon week is our internet safety week!
We also partner with the memory book committee to help provide photos of memorable school events!

Stage Crew runs all the lights, sound, and audio for events that happen in the auditorium. Not only do we handle during-school activities like assemblies, talent shows, and concerts, but we also provide our services for after-school events too. Look for applications in the spring for the following school year. During our TA we spend a lot of time getting ready for upcoming events and learning about all of the effects that go into putting on an event in the auditorium. |
