Welcome to our annual fundraiser, Season of Hope. We are partnering with Mountain Ridge’s fundraiser, Season of Scarlet. This year the money we raise will primarily benefit Millie’s Princess Foundation. Their mission is this: "We are dedicated to raising hope, funds, and awareness for families affected by Childhood Cancer." We will also make a donation to the Jordan Education Foundation.

There will be donuts sold Tuesday and Thursday mornings ($2.00) and hot chocolate on Fridays ($1.00).  Each TA class will be competing to see who can raise the most money with opportunities to win school contests to add to their class total.

Students can bring cash to school, or families can donate online at bit.ly/SeasonofHope2024. Please include your student's TA teacher if you donate online, so the money can count towards the class competitions.

All donations are due by December 19th. Thanks so much for your support!

We’d like to congratulate the September Tigers of the Month. Tiger of the Month students are chosen by the teachers for their ability to follow the Tiger Traits and for being all around good students. This is the highest award that's given at South Hills.

Dear South Hills Families:
The South Hills Middle School Community Council (SCC) is a team comprised of parents and teachers who directly impact the direction of the school's academic programs and goals. The Council also plays a key role in establishing safety programs and the school’s state LAND Trust budget spending plan. LAND Trust plans made by the Council are submitted to and approved by the Jordan School District School Board and the Utah State Board of Education.
The Council meets four times during the school year. Meetings start at 4:00 PM in the Main Office Conference Room and will be held in October, November, January and March at 4:00 PM. The first meeting will be October 3, 2024 - 4:00 PM.
To participate, fill out the attached SHMS SCC Candidate Form and return it to the SHMS Main Office or submit a scanned copy or photograph of your completed Candidate Form to alexis.bryson@jordandistrict.org no later than 3:30 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024, and attend the first meeting.
THANK YOU!
